When Big Things Come Your Way.

I'm a little bit late on this story...But January is not over yet! 
On new years eve, at approximately 5:30 pm, I got engaged to the man of my dreams. It was a well thought out production and completely caught me by surprise! 
We had planned a triple date with my brothers and everyone seemed very excited. I was totally clueless. An hour before the date, Moroni calls me saying his date couldn't make it. He apologized so many times it confused me! I couldn't figure out why in the world he felt so bad for not being able to go to the movies with us. Brett picked me up and we headed to Pizza Pie Cafe. For those who don't know Brett... He can eat a lot and I always try to eat more than him so I can beat him in something. I was surprised when he didn't eat much. After that we headed to Walmart to play cards while we waited for our movie! Cards at Walmart? Yes, cards at Walmart. We grabbed folding chairs and played cards right in the furniture isle! 
 When 4:30 rolled around it was time for our movie,Puss in Boots, best movie in the world might I add. Oh wait. I sat in that theater wanting to go home the entire time. I don't like sequels.. they ruin everything. And Puss in Boots was just disappointing! So as soon as the movie was over I was up and almost running out of there! But for some crazy reason Helaman, his date Breeann and Brett wanted to stay and watch the credits? I felt like the wicked witch of the west. The credits were finally over, after too long of a wait and a picture of 2nd Dam shows up. I had seen that picture before. I knew where it was and everything but nothing was making sense, that's when Brett appeared on the screen. I was confused. I had taken that picture and now Brett was on the screen, he was moving his mouth as if he was saying something but there was no sound! Ha Ha I bet that gave him a heart attack! The slideshow continued and the sound finally came on and I could hear Brett tell me he loves and talk about our adventure together as pictures of us showed up on the screen. I looked over at Brett and he smiled at me, and that's when it all clicked. He was finally proposing, This was it. When the movie finished he knelt down and proposed! It was the best moment of my life. Now everything made sense. Why we stayed for the credits, why Moroni felt so bad he couldn't come, why everyone at home wanted me to do my hair and wear something cute and why Brett was so nervous all day! After that we went to my mom's house and had a new years eve party with my closest friends and family. It was the best New Years Eve Ever. Must be saying something about 2012. It's going to be an amazing year! Can't Wait :)
