Yummies and Owies!

Life this past week...

Well, on Monday during work Blaine decided he wanted to get rid of his Halloween pumpkin so he asked us girls who wanted to make pumpkin bread and I volunteered. As soon as I said yes, I realized I didn't even know how to make pumpkin bread with a real pumpkin. But when I got home from work I got online and studied a few recipes.
I swear everyone thought I was crazy but I wanted to make a treat, eat a yummy dinner and have a nice little family home evening with Brett. So I did. I made pumpkin bread from scratch. Oh it was delicious! In fast it was so good the 3 loaves I made where gone in seconds.
Brett loved it. The Kendrick's loved it. My family loved it. I had never even cooked with a pumpkin. Brett and I decided that will be our tradition from now on, to make pumpkin bread out of our carved pumpkins. I think it's his new favorite fall treat!
I think it's everyone's favorite because everyone wants the recipe and I made it two days in a row! YUMMY!

Yesterday.... I got my wisdom teeth out! Most of you know this but for those who don't...
I am terrified of anything involving blood, guts, needles, doctors, owies. I just can't handle it. Never have been able to. I remember one time playing with my siblings and jumping from one table to the other and fell down and cut my leg. I don't remember if it hurt but all I remember was crying hsterically because I'd have to go to the doctor. Either way, my wisdom teeth were coming in and I didn't tell anyone until recently because they hurt so bad, they'd give me awful headaches. So Brett being the super hero in my life scheduled an appointment to get the x-rays. Even going in the dentist and smelling it made me sick. Dr. Lambert prepared me and told me we'd have to get them out. And so we scheduled it. I had nightmare after nightmare about it.
I said many prayers and the day came and the best part is... I totally faced my fears. I even let him put the IV in. (which is a very big deal) I don't remember anything. It was really easy he said. Now I'm on a diet of yogurts, jamba, apple sauce and pudding. It's great.
But i've been very well taken care of. My family brought me jamba. Brett bought me all kinds of goodies. Aline and Bryce made me a shake. Mom (Tamra) makes sure I take my meds. It's not as bad as I imagined it to be. I mean I get to watch lots of movies and ice my face a lot. I'm doing great. Other than I can't yawn or laugh because it hurts so bad.
The only cute part is a look like a chipmunk.... and Brett still seems to think i'm pretty! Isn't he a keeper?

Oh and good news! We get to move into our cute little place tomorrow! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
