The first one was Christmas Bunco, have I told you how much I love to spend time with girls? I love Bunco night, its filled with fun girls, craziness, food and fun. It's so much fun and this month definitely didn't disappoint! Now I'm even more excited for Valentines Bunco ;) Stay tuned for that one!
Our next party... Couples Only Christmas Party at my mom's house! :) I guess you could say we had fun because I forgot to take pictures! We got about a million pictures of Jet and Deacon together though, they were the cutest ones there anyway ;) But we had great food, a fun white elephant, unwrapping game and gospel discussion! It was a successful night, I love throwing parties and having a great time, it was even better to hang out and catch up with girls and meet their husbands!
The next day we had the Kendrick Christmas Party! I can't tell you enough but Brett's grandma is the classiest lady I know! She throws the cutest parties, there's always great food, everything is decorated, and a cute program. If I could be half the woman she is someday, I'll be happy! Seriously, so darling! I love getting together with the Kendrick side, they are all so nice! We had a great day, Deacon was really spoiled! Everyone wanted to hold him and snuggle him and make him smile!
Knowing me, you know we took a million pictures... but don't worry it took us 50 tries to get Deacon to look at the camera, and he always smiles but because I wanted a family picture, it wasn't happening! And then Brett holds him up and looks at him... and that's how we got the cutest picture of the night! He sure loves his Daddy! and hates posed pictures ;)
There was also a little talent show! The boys put on a hilarious little number! White Christmas :)
We slept over at Uncle Craig and Aunt Diane's house that night, in the morning we went to church then off to the Lamont Christmas party! I'm pretty sure Aunt Diane threw the most successful Christmas party this year! I must learn from her ;)
I love Christmas Sunday!
I love this sweet Family of mine!
For dinner we played Iron Chef! Three teams and we all got assigned a different type of food; Mexican, Italian and French. We had an hour and 30 minutes to plan, prep and cook 3 different dishes and make a chef hat for the presentation! It was so much fun! It's crazy how much you can get done in such a short amount of time with so many people. I loved every part of it :)
My team had Mexican, we made chicken chimichangas in sour cream sauce, pico and guac, mexican rice, dip and taco cups :) Seriously... it was the best food there in my opinion! Haha But the Italian team won, they made gelato, bruschetta (which Brett made, it was delicious!) and baked ziti.
The French Team made: Crepes, Chicken cordon bleu and mushrooms.
We also played Family Jeopardy, it was fun and challenging because most of us didn't know half the stories but I loved learning all the little stories and meaning of things! What a great family!
