Girl time

For those of you who aren't familiar with a sales/tech/summer wife lifestyle... It goes something like this... We don't see our hubbies often, in fact we spend more time with our little babes and girl friends than our boys. But when you've got a group as fun as I do, it makes for a great summer!
We have 6 tech wives counting me and 5 sales wives and I think two more are
coming! 6 kiddos and more coming! So it's a big group of us!

Cupcakes
Our first big adventure together was interrupted by the rain. We were all gonna walk to a cupcake shop, Butter Sweet Cakes, that is pretty close to us. It ended up raining a couple hours before and we ended up just hanging out and chatting and eating cupcakes at Lynn's apartment!

Aren't these girls the cutest? And that's not even all of us!
Ps: This is our raffle picture, so if anyone wants to send good vibes our way ;)

Spa Night
Last minute, me and a couple other girls decided to watch a movie, make some treats and have a little spa night.

Novah and I wore matching Jammies :)

We made a homemade avocado mask...

Avocado Mask
1 avocado
1/2 tsp lemon
1 egg

It smelt like guacamole and we all wanted to grab some chips! But we put it on and immediately mine started burning. Stinging. A couple of the other girls felt it too so... We washed it off.
As soon as I washed mine off, Crystal and I noticed we both had started to break out. I'm pretty sure it's my fault though, because I didn't measure my lemon, I just.... Lalalala *squirt* I'm pretty sure I put way more than half a teaspoon.
Sorry ladies!!

But Maria saved the day, she had an avocado mask we all used while we painted our nails and ate cookies :)

Let's just say... The babies hated the masks.

But the cookies were a hit!

7-11
Dana, the cutest pregnant lady you'll meet, was craving some slurpees so we decided we were gonna walk to 7-11, which is only a mile away... We don't have many cars out here this summer!
Either way, last week was pretty rainy so we couldn't go. So yesterday the sun was out, so we had to go!
Not only was the sun out, but it was blistering hot! We were sweating like, five minutes after leaving!! And half way to 7-11 there was no more sidewalk! They don't have many sidewalks around here.... So we walked on weeds and then on the side of the road! Not safe, but we made it in good time! It was so refreshing getting to 7-11, it felt so cool in there!

As we grabbed our slurpees, a nice lady kept asking us if we needed a ride somewhere, she told us how dangerous it is out here and she'd be happy to take us anywhere. We chatted and accepted a ride, she was so sweet. And told us not to be so trusting because there are crazy people and people who text and drive. I admit, it wasn't the brightest idea. It was probably a pretty reckless adventure, especially with Deacon but thanks to that nice lady, we got home safely and we will no longer take crazy walks in this crazy heat!  It was one for the books though ;)
