We are finally in Oklahoma for the summer, we were in Kansas in April and then we came to Oklahoma for a couple days then back to Kansas and now, we're back here, where we will stay for a while! It's been fun, I've made some cute new friends, Deacon has little girlfriends and Brett is working long and hard but he loves it!

Zoo day!
For Earth Day, the Segdwick Zoo had a free day, Brett didn't have to work until 3 that day so we got in the car and went! It was sprinkling most of the time we were there but with this part of the country being so hot and humid, I wasn't complaining!
Deacon loved the Orangutans, he wanted to be right up by them. It was my favorite part seeing him actually interested! I love the zoo! I'm so glad we went even though it was a little wet and cold!
We had a second zoo day with just the babes and girls. It was fun, I loved getting to know the ladies I'll be spending my summer with! Better yet, we loved feeding the giraffes!
Also, this tiger wouldn't look away from us. He would look us right in the eye, it was terrifying and amazing all at the same time. Deacon didn't like that, he cried when the tiger looked at him!
Cuddly nights
Brett usually works pretty late, so D and I have the day and night to ourselves. It was definitely hard at first for me because I'm used to a whole different schedule and up until we moved D was pretty chill. Then we move and he can do practically everything and daddy is gone most of the time, so it was an adjustment but I have grown to love our late nights.
Deacon goes to bed earlier now but he always wants to cuddle and play before bed. I love those moments together.

And then there are nights when Brett comes home a little earlier than usual and D is still awake. Those are my favorite nights! Sometimes I get so stir crazy and want to go do something, but not many things are open at that time anyway, so we end up cuddling, giving kisses and laughing. Best way to end our day!
Pool days
Sometimes Brett doesn't go to work till later, his schedule is crazy, we don't usually know what the next day will be like toll the night before.
So pool dates with daddy are extra fun. It's so warm here already that going to the pool around 10:30 - 11 Is perfect timing :)
But mostly, they are pool dates with mommy and the girls! 
Sundays
And then we have our Sundays, which are usually spent like this.... At church.
It's our favorite day of the week, it's Brett's only day off, so we try to squeeze as much quality time together, as many hugs and kisses and cuddles and laughs on Sunday. We usually wake up late, eat breakfast, go to Church, go on walks, explore or hang out with our good friends out here!
Sometimes (all the time) I wish Brett had more than one day off, we don't like to spend money or do much on Sundays but in a way I'm glad that's the day he gets off, because we end up spending time together and that time is about us, not about anything else❤️
So that's our life in Oklahoma so far! I will try to keep this updated as more fun things happen :) I love being able to live in a different place in the summer, we learn so much about ourselves, our spouses, our babies and so much about others. I like being able to live in a different "culture" and experiencing different things. I'm grateful for Brett's job, and his positive attitude every day!
I tell Brett all the time... "It's gonna be a long, hot summer, we should be together...." ;)
